Dennis, Gartland & Niergarth boasts a 15-member government services team. With combined decades of multivariate experience in the public sector, this group is qualified to provide audits, financial reviews, procedural guidance, fraud prevention consultations, IT training sessions, and more. Our teams work primarily with clients in northwest Michigan, giving us a local perspective and knowledge that is valuable in this type of accounting work. The members of our government team also regularly participate in ongoing professional training, to learn about the latest government issues and standards.
DGN’s commitment to achieving the highest standard in performing quality governmental audits led the firm to join the Governmental Audit Quality Center of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The Center’s primary purpose is to promote the importance of quality audits performed under government auditing standards (including OMB Circular A-133 audits) and the value of such audits to purchasers of governmental audit services. The Center provides DGN with resources to enhance the quality of our governmental audits and imposes strict membership requirements to help ensure we provide quality services.
