DGN Earns Successful Peer Review
Firm Continues to Meet Rigorous AICPA Quality Review Standards
The Traverse City accounting firm of Dennis, Gartland & Niergarth (DGN) successfully completed a rigorous independent review of its accounting and auditing practice, and has been recognized for its professional standards. The reviewers concluded that that the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs.
DGN has participated in the AICPA Peer Review Program since 1987. Participating firms must undergo an independent peer review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years. The objective a peer review is to determine whether a CPA firm has suitable quality control policies and procedures and is complying with them. The reviews were conducted under the auspices of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants following standards issued by the AICPA.
